Abstract / Description

On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, President Biden hosted the first White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health in over 50 years to bring Americans together to achieve a bold goal: End hunger and increase healthy eating and physical activity by 2030, so that fewer Americans experience diet-related diseases like diabetes, obesity, and hypertension. The Administration also released a National Strategy.

To continue the momentum started at the White House Conference, on March 24, 2023, President Biden renewed his call to action by launching the White House Challenge to End Hunger and Build Healthy Communities. Be part of the movement to end hunger and reduce diet-related diseases by learning more and joining the White House Challenge to End Hunger and Build Healthy Communities. (author abstract)
