Abstract / Description

During Quarter 2 of 2025, P4HE’s Quarterly Learning Journey focused on an essential topic: combatting misinformation and disinformation to advance health equity. Our activities centered around three primary areas: understanding the role of misinformation in relation to health (in)equity, identifying misinformation, and determining effective ways to combat health-related misinformation.

  • Level Setting Dialogue: This resource provides foundational knowledge and sets the stage for deeper exploration and understanding of combatting misinformation and disinformation for health equity.
  • Blog: This resource further explores foundational knowledge on combatting misinformation and disinformation for health equity, incorporating research-informed insights and practical applications.
  • Resource List: This resource curates a list of valuable tools, articles, and publications related to misinformation and disinformation in the context of health equity.
  • Interactive Learning Session: This live event fostered a collaborative space for people from various sectors to co-create common definitions and understanding of combatting misinformation and disinformation for health equity.  
  • Workshop Series: This live, three-session series offered a facilitated space to learn, discuss, and practice strategies and skills for combatting misinformation and disinformation for health equity.  
  • Podcast (episode 1 & episode 2): This resource reinforces ideas and varying points of views related to combatting misinformation and disinformation for health equity.  
  • Webinar: This live event culminated all learnings from the quarter, focusing on actionable steps for cross-sector collaborators to engage in to advance health equity through combatting misinformation and disinformation. Coming soon!
