On July 25th, 2013, The Colorado Trust hosted a Learning Lunch featuring Adewale Troutman, MD, associate dean of health equity and community engagement at University of South Florida and past president of the American Public Health Association. Over more than 40 years, Dr. Troutman has studied and worked to advance health equity and eliminate racism and other social injustices. Founder of the nation’s first Center for Health Equity in Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellbeing, Dr. Troutman is featured in the documentary, Unnatural causes; Is inequality making us sick?
